Must have!
I have read a few neurodivergent books on my podcast Choose Your Adventure Storytime and this is definitely up there as one of the must have If you have a child that struggles to regulate or has trouble with feeling in general this book will help them along. Self affirming and creating awareness for others. I enjoyed reading this one.

I bought Mabel’s Magic Meal for my nephews, and it was an instant hit! The story is whimsical and fun, and the illustrations are colorful and engaging. I especially love how it promotes healthy eating habits in a playful way — turning fruits and veggies into magic and adventure makes learning about food exciting. My nephews laughed, asked to read it again, and were inspired to try new foods. A delightful read that’s both entertaining and educational!

I bought Finding Toby’s Smile for my nephews, and they absolutely loved it. It’s a beautiful, loving story that gently introduces big feelings in a way young children can really understand. The themes of friendship, empathy, and emotional support are handled with so much care and warmth. It opened up lovely conversations and felt both comforting and meaningful. A gorgeous book for helping kids navigate emotions while celebrating kindness and connection. Highly recommend.
